Position Title: Educational Psychologist

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and supervise the Early Intervention and Learning Day program.
- Conduct psychological assessments of program participants to evaluate baseline
learning, emotional, and behavioural needs, incorporating observations and input from
class leads and relevant speech and occupational therapists. - Conduct psychological assessments of outreach students within school settings,
integrating input from class leads and other relevant professionals. - Provide counselling and intervention services to address students’ social, emotional,
and behavioural challenges. - Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop individualised support plans.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance students’ learning and well-being.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide recommendations for classroom
management. - Support the identification and intervention process for students with special
educational needs (SEN). - Provide training and guidance to teachers and staff on psychological issues and
strategies. - Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss students’ progress and
interventions. - Collaborate with external agencies and professionals as required.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments and interventions.
- Stay updated with research and best practices in educational psychology.
- Contribute to organisational mental health and well-being initiatives in collaboration
with the marketing/events team. - Complete any additional tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Psychology (Master’s preferred).
- At least 2 years of proven paediatric experience.
- Skilled in supporting children with developmental and additional needs (SEND).
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
