Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Speech & Language Therapist to join a dynamic, child-centered therapy center in Dubai. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating children and young individuals with a range of speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. The successful candidate will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and play a vital role in empowering each patient to communicate as effectively and independently as possible.
Key Areas of Clinical Focus
• Childhood speech and language delays and disorders
• Fluency disorders (e.g., stammering)
• Voice disorders
• Feeding, eating, drinking, and swallowing difficulties (FEDS)
• Acquired speech and language impairments
• Autism Spectrum Disorders, including non-verbal communication and use of AAC
Key Responsibilities
• Assess and diagnose a wide range of communication disorders and swallowing difficulties.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough clinical evaluation and input from allied professionals.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions, adjusting strategies in response to patient progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, including evaluations, treatment summaries, and progress reports.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings such as IEP or case reviews, providing insight into patient goals and therapy outcomes.
• Provide regular consultation and education to parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders.
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in speech and language therapy through continuous professional development.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of SALT services, including assessment protocols and therapy resources.

Work Environment
• Based at a leading pediatric therapy and rehabilitation center in Dubai
• Flexible to work extended hours and some holidays based on patient needs and operational requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Speech & Language Therapy (from an accredited program)
• Minimum 5 years’ clinical experience working with children (ages 3+)
• Proven experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders
• Trained in one or more of the following: ABA, TEACCH, SCERTS
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Preferred:
• Master’s Degree in Speech & Language Therapy
• Training in PROMPT, Hanen, Social Skills, Group Therapy, AAC use
• Previous work experience in private medical or therapy settings
